Many often have a hard time being grateful, many say that they don’t have anything to be grateful for.
I have talked about how your mind sees value in things and the mind’s amazing ability to adapt to stuff in your life
I will tell you right now the reason why many can’t be grateful, its because many don’t want to admit that they have better things in their life.
Because if they admit that they have things to be grateful for, their mind would have to find another excuse towards crying about their situation in life.
And its not just that, becoming aware of the value of things which have been there with us always have to be realized
Won’t you be grateful for having a normally functioning mind, wouldn’t you be grateful for having loving parents for providing you with your needs and wants or even be grateful for having parents in the first place
Our mind looks outside our immediate environment, changes that are not yet with you or wishes that you have not achieved
People keep running behind those things.. running, running and they never notice that those things which we don’t have, are not going to bring long term satisfaction or happiness
Once that thing or person you desire, once you reach to the point to having it, you will become used to it and you will no longer feel satisfied or happy
It doesn’t have to be that we have to be grateful for the things that make us happy, we should be grateful for the things that better our life and put us in less pain and suffering than if it wasn’t there
