A recap of the things I talked about:

First: speaking your thoughts loudly

If you are alone in a room, try to say your thoughts loudly. By doing this, you become some aware of your thoughts, as same as you are aware of someone speaking as the sound goes in your ear. You register your thoughts better when you hear them in your ear

Second: Recall task

At the end of every day, before sleeping. Try to recall all the things which happened during the day. Especially your actions and behavior. an example: if you upset someone (your action), try to think why did you upset the person, what did you do to upset them.. then, think what thoughts were you having when you did the act of upsetting someone. Try to come up with some ideas as to what you were thinking. Then, afterwards, come up with a belief which would justify your thinking in the moment. Ask whether it was your surrounding making you think in a certain or your beliefs.

Practice daily and you will become better at back tracking

Third: breathing exercise

Whenever you are feeling a bit off or you think you are OVER thinking. Then, close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.

Do it for four times and try to concentrate only on the breath and nothing else, do this when you are in a calm place.

If you are not in the calm place, breathe and listen to the noise and don’t pay attention to your thoughts.

After the four deep breaths, try to imagine a black screen with a small white dot and try to imagine this white dot, as vividly as possible.

After you have your mental focus on the small white dot, then imagine that the dot is disappearing and now try to imagine your thoughts on the black screen.

Imagine it as wordings, words, sentences and you can read the sentences. You are not making the sentences; you are observing them. Observing your thoughts.

Observe one chain of thought and then Whenever you think you want to not observe. Imagine the words disappearing and open your eyes.
